Summary/Objective This position assists the Purchasing team to perform a wide variety of administrative functions. Order management is a primary function. This position is also responsible for a variety of administrative duties regarding product pricing, accounting and tracking. Other administrative duties will be assigned.

  • Order Management
    • Order generation, tracking, and verification
    • Scrutinize, approve and sign vendor confirmations
    • Assist Buyers with Order Management
  • Data maintenance for accounts payable/vendor tracking     
  • Preparing wire transfers for approval
  • Work with vendors for accounts management
  • Update product pricing
  • Data entry and management

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  Work Environment 

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Physical Demands

This is a mostly sedentary role; however, some filing and errand running is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend as necessary, along with ability to drive. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Travel: No travel is expected for this position.

 Required Education and Experience

  1. High School degree or equivalent
  2. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
  3. Experience communicating with a variety of people in other countries
  4. Intermediate experience with Microsoft office software, especially Excel and Word
  5. Experience with Outlook software

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Knowledge of purchasing processes
